Jarosław Marek
(born 1979) received M.Sc. degree from Poznan University of Technology in 2004. At present he is an assistant at Poznan University of Technology, a member of the Chair of Multimedia Telecommunications and Microelectronics. He is a co-author of papers on digital video compression. He has been taking part in several industry-oriented projects, mainly in the scope of research that encompasses designing, implementing and optimizing video codecs and transcoders. His professional interests are:- H.264/AVC video codec software development;
- Optimization of video non-scalable as well as scalable codecs;
- Video transcoders designing, implementation and optimalization;
- Automatic image quality improvement.
