(born 1980) received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Poznan University of Technology in 2004 and 2010 respectively. At present he is an assistant at Chair of Multimedia Telecommunications and Microelectronics.

He is an author and co-author of some papers on digital video compression, entropy coding and modeling of advanced video encoders. He has been taking part in several projects for industrial research and development:
  • H.264/AVC video codec software implementation and development;
  • MPEG-2 to H.264/AVC video transcoder development;
  • Automatic image quality improvements;
  • Scalable video encoder and decoder improvements.
His current researches encompass implementing and optimizing video encoders and decoders and modeling of advanced video coders.

He is interested in network issues, basketball, film and tourism.
